This spring and summer, the Center for Heirs’ Property® (CHP) hosted its first-ever policy webinar series — three conversations rooted in two decades of direct legal and landowner support and shaped by the voices of the families at the center of it all.

For landowners and families with generational wealth tied up in property, that step is especially urgent. A will doesn’t just organize your affairs. For many families, it’s what keeps a piece of land and everything that land represents, from slipping away.

Family land carries the same weight as the stories told around the table. It’s history. It’s an opportunity. It’s proof that your family has been building something for generations.

Something happens when people who are doing the hard, daily work of protecting family land finally get to be in the same room together. The conversations deepen. The energy shifts. And something that can be difficult to manufacture in a virtual meeting, real trust, real momentum, begins to move through the space.
