Started in 1985, the Conservation Reserve Program (#CRP) is one of the largest (covering about five million acres in 2023) #conservation programs in the world where #farmers and ranchers set aside a certain portion of their environmentally sensitive land from agricultural production and plant species that will improve environmental health and quality in exchange for a yearly rental payment. Unfortunately, the participation of #underserved #communities (African Americans, Females, Beginning Farmers, Veterans Farmers, Young Farmers, and others) is almost negligible in CRP, and a need exists to fill this critical gap in light of #diversity, #equity, and #integration issues. Money to be earned each year for enrolling in the program! At the workshop, we will teach you how to achieve success.
