Invasive Plant Management Workshop

Our friends at Clemson Cooperative Extension is hosting an Invasive Plant Management Workshop on Friday, April 14th from 8:30 a.m. until 3:30 p.m. at the Sandhill REC, 900 Clemson Road in Columbia, SC 29229. There is a fee for this workshop. To register click the link below.
This workshop will provide landowners and forestry professionals information on invasive plants and methods for management. Trained professionals will teach participants pesticide basics, including safety, active ingredients, and trad names Identification and management methods for common woody plants, grasses, and understory plants will be discussed. An afternoon filed tour will include hands-on demonstrations of mechanical invasive species control and herbicide application methods in different forest systems.
