Forest Management Bus Tour Throughout Colleton and Surrounding Counties  Bus loads at USDA Service Center, 531 Robertson Blvd., Walterboro, SC  Workshop registration is free.  Lunch is provided both days.  RSVP by September 3 to USDA-NRCS at (843) 549-1821, ext. 3

One-on-one consultations available with USDA staff US Department of Agriculture representatives will share information to help improve your farm.  Experts will be available for financial assistance programs; conservation programs; farm load programs; disaster programs; marketing; vegetable production; pest management; high tunnels (hoop houses); forest management; and more.

On September 5, we will take a charter bus tour to discuss various forest management practices.  Including, tree selection, site preparation, tree planting, timber harvesting, insects and diseases and forest health, forest recreation, wildlife, and morel.  Dress to be in the field.
