Community Liaison Leadership Institute
To expand upon our outreach efforts and to fulfill our strategic goal of community building, the Center developed a core group of 20 community leaders to serve as community liaisons in the Clubhouse/Geddisville areas of Dorchester County. These liaisons were CLLI Participantsdeveloped in response to heirs' property owners' request to have individuals who are not attorneys in the community to serve as advocates and guide them through the process of addressing their heirs' property issues. These liaisons will ensure that heirs' property owners and their surrounding communities are made aware of issues that affect heirs' property owners and participate in planning and development activities which directly impact their communities. To prepare this group to serve in this capacity, the Center conducted a leadership institute.
